After reading about MindJet MindManager here, here and here (and many other places), I tried it out last month.

Each day since evaluating X5 Pro, it has become more and more obvious that I could not live without this software. ;-)  I told my wife no less than once a day that it would make my life easier and that it fit with the way I work.  This went on for 3 weeks before she finally got fed up and told me to buy it.

I knew that since my evalaution ended, I had received some emails from MindJet, so I decided to check them to see if there were any good deals before I made the purchase.  Lo and behold, I found a deal: X5 Pro + X5 Mobile for $324!  Cool.  Armed with the promo code (code=promobile04, expires Dec. 31, 2004) from the email, I tried to place my order.  I wanted X5 Pro + X5 Mobile + the 1 year support agreement.  I was able to add X5 Pro + the support agreement but when I tried to enter the promo code, it added another copy of X5 Pro to my order (not what I wanted).  Trying to remove the extra copy only made things worse.  After trying a few things (none of which worked), I decided to fire off any email to the sales team at MindJet.

I got an email this morning from an “Inbound / Outbound Sales Manager” by the name of Erik.  He said I could give him a call to discuss my exact needs.  Within minutes of calling, I had my license keys and was good-to-go.

Edit: Dec 21, 2004: I had to fix the mis-spelled title.
