Isn't it amazing what some people don't know?

Have you ever talked to someone that's supposedly been doing something (programming, network admin, etc.) for a long time, but that don't know really simple stuff?

I had that experience today.  Someone (who supposedly has a lot of experience) asked me why a class wasn't showing up in their compiled dll (VB 6).  I said, “is the class private?” and the person stumbled around looking confused.  They walked to the next offrice and I then heard them ask someone else the same question.  The other person in this case (our boss) actually had to show the person how to change the “instancing “ property in VB6.  WTF is that about?
