I spent Friday in downtown Ann Arbor (about 1.5 hours from where I live), mostly with a friend and former co-worker. It was a great day to hang out downtown, although we did spend several hours talking about a project. We had a great lunch at The Mongolian Barbeque (mainly because there were about a dozen hot college chicks at the table next to us), but before I left, I decided to hit the Borders bookstore and pick up The Art of Project Management
by Scott Berkun. You'll recall that I mentioned him a few days ago.
Anyway, one of the primary reasons I picked up the book is because I truly enjoy his writing style. He manages to take a relatively boring subject and make it interesting enough to keep the reader (at least me) fully engaged.
I've thumbed through it and read portions of a few chapters and will hopefully be able to dive into it this weekend. I'll post a review (maybe even a chapter-by-chapter review) at some point in the near future.
