My 33rd birthday is today.

I haven't been into work on my birthdya in years.  Normally, I'd take the day off and do a lot of nothing.  This year, unfortunately, I couldn't swing the day off.  I may try to leave a bit early, but that's only if nothing major comes up during the day.

The IT department is buying lunch and someone brought in brownies.  :-)  So far, so good.

I can't wait to get home and spend time with my family.  My wife and kids made a cake this morning (after I left for work)...if it's like last year, they actually put on 30+ candles.  Hell...the cake looked like the surface of the sun last year and I needed my daughters help to blow them out. ;-)
