What Will Other People Think of You?
Steve is one of my favorite bloggers. He proves the idea that if you can think it, you can do it.
Realize that other people’s opinions of you are theirs alone and have very little to do with you. No one else really knows what you’re capable of.
This is absolutely true. People rarely see what you're really capable of, they simple make assumptions and form opinions.
Don’t fear that you’ll turn into some kind of inconsiderate, anti-social jerk if you stop being concerned with what others think of you.
What if I'm already an inconsiderate, anti-social jerk? I stopped being concerned with what other people thought a long time ago. It's a liberating experience.
You’re supposed to fail. Failure is one of the best ways we humans learn and grow. Allow yourself to be human.
Failure is difficult, but I have to say...I would NOT be the person I am today without experiencing some tough failures. Of course, I do wonder what life would be like if I had succeeded instead of failed....
If other people around you are showering you with “can’ts” and “shouldn’ts,” simply ignore them. Their fear has nothing to do with you.
Right on. ;-)
Faith in yourself isn’t a result of success. It’s the cause of it.
Dude...get this put on a t-shirt or something. :-)
