Let's not forget that 64 years ago today, the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor bringing the US into World War II.

WOW! Check out Pandora! Peter Provost mentioned it yesterday and now I'm hooked. I started with ‘Jethro Tull’ and have enjoyed everything that’s come up (a lot of Genesis, Rush, David Bowie and of course Tull).
Dave at Signal vs. Noise has a great post titled:
'Don't scale: 99.999% uptime is for Wal-Mart'. When I attended the SQL Roadshow a couple months ago, one of the presenters talked about high-availability (99.99+% uptime). The fact is, 99.999% uptime means only about 5 minutes of downtime in an *entire year*. As Dave said, very few companies need this...especially new web companies that are trying to "embrace the goal of getting someone to care enough about your product that they’ll actually complain when its down."
Eric Wise talks about Self Documenting Code. I can't help but feel that this is about the millionth time someone has written about this. :-)
A tentative schedule has been posted for the upcoming Dayton-Cincinnati Code Camp. Looks good so far.
