Wow...I've been really busy with projects lately. I've been working as a sub-sub-contractor on an Access / Excel solution for an automotive company. While Access and Excel isn't as fun as .NET, it's $$$. :-) It involves importing data from Excel, slicing and dicing the data, exporting results back to Excel and then re-importing those files after information has been added to them manually. The toughest part of this project has been getting to know the Excel object model (which, BTW is NOT all that intuitive).
On top of that project, I've been working on another project that's all .NET 2.0 / ASP.NET. The biggest challenge on this project is working around issues I keep finding in stock Microsoft controls. I've been doing a lot of CSS work which has been fun. I'll be moving on to some other components in a pretty large application that *must* be completed by the end of this year.
The new computer is up-and-running. I ended up ordering two more 17” LCDs because I wanted one dedicated to my game system and my wife decided she wanted one too. :-)
I think I'm finally over the pneumonia, although I'm still not quite 100% yet.
On top of all that, I hit level 35 in World of Warcraft. :-)
