After grandpa picked up the kids, my wife and I saw “Phantom of the Opera” at WMUs Miller Auditorium on Saturday.

My previous exposure to Phantom was listening (in passing) to the soundtrack, so I was familiar with some of the songs, but not all of them.  Now that I've seen the show, I may give the soundtrack another listen.

Overall, it was a great show, but I did struggle to keep my eyes open during some of the slower parts.  We had good seats in the row 11 of the Grand Tier (image), although it took me about 20 minutes to get over being “on the edge“.  I've never been a big fan of heights, but once the lights when out, I was fine.  The next time we get tickets for Miller, I'm gonna try to get them on the floor, near the orchestra. :-)
