We left this morning (Sunday the 25th) around 5:50a. Our plans were to be out the door by 5, but since neither of us got to bed before midnight, getting up at 4am was out of the question.
The weather was great for the first few hours of our trip. Once we hit Pennsylvania, it started raining and really hasn't let up since. I hate driving in the rain, but ended up driving most of the way. We did a little worse than last year...it took about 11.5 hours. We stopped for breakfast, lunch and a couple more times so the kids could stretch their legs. Out of the 11.5 hours, I drove all but an hour or so. :-\
Anyway, we arrived safely. I brought a wireless router with me so I could work this week without having to be constrained the upper level of my in-law's house. :-)
